List of the day
Location: Eulalia, Ibiza, Spain
Price: 6.85 million euros (6.9 million dollars)
This contemporary Ibiza rural hideaway has sanctuary-like spaces that take inspiration from the rustic side of the island.
The newly built Spanish finca has natural upholstery and handcrafted wood features, in modern, clean lines, which connect it to nature while creating a sense of ease and calm. It is fully furnished and has an outdoor stone bath and an organic vegetable garden.
Can Sabina, as it is called, is in a nature reserve among the Sabina tree forests and the pine-covered mountains, in the north of the island. It forms a modern retreat where residents can soak up the beauty of its natural setting and make the most of the Mediterranean climate.
On the upper level of the property there are two glass-encased bedrooms with four-poster beds and varnished woodwork, while the ground floor features an open-plan living room, garden pond and outdoor living space surrounded by limestone walls where there is a bathtub. Sculptural wooden pieces, meanwhile, are artfully positioned throughout the property.

Its gardens revolve around a swimming pool with a large furnished wooden terrace, offering a place to relax and sunbathe by the water. Other parts of the extensive grounds include an organic vegetable garden.
Can Sabina is a truly state-of-the-art home, with stunning Ibizan countryside views and contemporary design, said listing agent Matt Crowther. “Its living spaces are elegant and open, and the wraparound glazing naturally draws you outside to the huge garden, multiple terraces and swimming pool,” he added.
The fully furnished 6,640 square foot Ibiza home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, and a large roof terrace. It sits on 3.5 hectares of land including gardens, a pond and private terraces.
The main focus of the gardens is the 23m outdoor swimming pool, which has countryside views and a wooden deck. There is also a dining area with a kitchen, which makes it easier to cook outside.
Separate from the main house is a two-bedroom luxury guest suite, with two enclosed terraces, complete with a luxury stone outdoor tub.
On the grounds there is a parking space for 18 cars, which facilitates entertainment for large gatherings.
Can Sabina was built by the Atzaró Group, an international luxury hotel brand, based in Ibiza. They also run an eponymous Agrotourismo hotel and spa, a beach club and beach restaurant in Cala Nova, and the Aubergine farm to table organic restaurant on the island.
After: Why Ibiza is a good place to invest in a second home
The Morna Valley Nature Reserve property sits in the green hills above the village of San Carlos in the north of the Spanish island.
Can Sabina is a 15 minute drive from Santa Eulalia, Ibiza’s third largest town, with its white sandy beaches, while San Carlos, famous for its bohemian charm, is a 10 minute drive. It is easily accessible from Ibiza airport and Ibiza town, both around 30 minutes away by car.
